It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Denis Thomas, a long-term colleague and member of the VHC Health Board of Directors for over 20 years. He passed away peacefully in South Carolina on January 25, 2023.

In lieu of flowers, Dr. Thomas' wife has asked that donations be made to VHC Health in his name.

He was an extraordinary person, known for his graciousness and dedication to VHC Health. He took great pride in his role on the Board of Directors board. His presentations were always a highlight, as he had a unique ability to make even the most mundane committee report seem like a magnificent event.

Denis earned his Master’s and Doctorate in Business Administration from Harvard Business School, and was a faculty member of the graduate business schools of both the Harvard and London, England, universities.

Denis was preceded in death by his parents Rosamund and Morris, as well as his brother David. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Dayle, his three children Owen, Derek and Samantha Kate, daughter-in-law Cynthia, beloved granddaughter EllaJames, as well as his niece Jacqueline, nephew Richard and their families.
