The VHC Health Foundation Giving Societies recognizes donors who have made a lasting impact on the health of their community through their philanthropic support of VHC Health. These societies each include their own giving levels and benefits. Membership in these societies is a meaningful way for donors to show their dedication to the mission of VHC Health and stay informed about the work that is being done to improve the health of their community.

These societies offer exclusive events, special recognition, and other benefits to thank donors for their contributions and help them stay informed and engaged with the work of VHC Health.

Giving Societies

Visionary Society

An individual or family can enter the Galen Society with a one-time gift or pledge over 5 years of at least $5,000,000 to VHC Health. Current donors can also become members by cumulatively giving $25,000 or more to the hospital.

Millennium Society

An individual or family can enter the Galen Society with a one-time gift or pledge over 5 years of at least $1,000,000 to VHC Health. Current donors can also become members by cumulatively giving $25,000 or more to the hospital.

1944 Society

An individual or family can enter the Galen Society with a one-time gift or pledge over 5 years of at least $250,000 to VHC Health. Current donors can also become members by cumulatively giving $250,000 or more to the hospital.

Galen Society

An individual or family can enter the Galen Society with a one-time gift or pledge over 5 years of at least $25,000 to VHC Health. Current donors can also become members by cumulatively giving $25,000 or more to the hospital.
To retain their membership, Galen Society members must continue to support the hospital through annual donations of at least $1,000.

Legacy Society

The Legacy Society recognizes donors who have named the VHC Health Foundation as the ultimate beneficiary of a planned gift. These gifts can include bequests through a will or trust, as well as charitable income gifts such as charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder unitrusts, charitable remainder annuity trusts, or gifts of life insurance.

Sustainer Circle

Women’s Health Circle (WHC)

Women’s Health Circle (WHC) focuses specifically on promoting VHC Health’s women’s health initiatives and services. WHC members partner with the hospital through their personal support, community outreach and program involvement. The Women’s Health Circle is led by an advisory board which is composed of active and dedicated WHC members and steered by co-chairs.
